Jefferson Co Art Guild Calendar (updated 1.13.12)

We have the Windsor Library glass case reserved for display for the months of May and December, 2012. Themes, installation and take down information coming soon!

There will also be a group display at the Arnold Rec Ctr during the month of April, 2012. The theme will be Still-ography. We hope you've started working on your still life or sculpture but if not, there is still plenty of time.

Other month long display opportunities for individual artists include Arnold Rec Ctr (Bob Biehl), Festus Library (Jane Patterson), Kline's Jewelry (Janet Berwin) and we are looking into possibly adding the NW Library in High Ridge.  

2012 meeting dates are Jan 10, Mar 20, May 8, July 10, Sep 11 and Nov 13.
All meetings are on Tuesdays and begin at 6:30 p., last until about 8 and are held
at the Windsor branch of the Jefferson Co. library in Barnhart.

Shawn Cornell from Creve Coeur discussed Plein-air painting techniques at the Jan 10th meeting. Read more about his demonstration in the next newsletter due to be mailed the first week of July.

A drawing was held during the meeting with the Traveling Art Trophy winners of 2011. Mindy Thompson won free membership for 2012. Congrats to Mindy.
